THE MANIFESTO RETURNS! ONE NIGHT ONLY! Friday 30th March 2012, 11PM St Ali Comedy, 12-18 Yarra Place, South Melbourne FREE! Comedy Manifesto is a classic stand-up comedy night which originally ran in 2008-09. An alternative to the long queues and steep prices of the mainstream comedy festival, the Manifesto returned Melbourne comedy to where it began: seedy bars in dingy back alleys. Manifesto featured the biggest comedy names in town alongside the best rising local talent, particularly at its standing-room only mystery-lineup 'Comedy Manifestival' nights.
In 2012, in its proud tradition of supporting independent comedy, Manifesto teams up The Comedy Manifesto Reunion!
Join the fun of our Not The Gala night, where Melbourne's best up-and-coming comedians will preview their Festival shows. Discover for yourself the acts you won't see on TV because some suit thinks they're not famous enough. In a luxury the old Manifesto never had, this special show is late on a Friday night, so kick off your heels, settle in and laugh the week away. And best of all... it's free! Join the mailing list (link at left) for updates, and to make sure that when we return with regular shows, you hear about it first! VISIT THE COMEDY MANIFESTO PAGE AT ST ALI COMEDY
The Comedy Manifesto lives on! The Comedy Manifesto sought to remind Melbourne that comedy happens all year round - not just in April!
